Maison Kitsuné Opens Hong Kong Store
The Parisian label was brought the fox to Hong Kong.

Parisian music label-turned fashion brand Maison Kitsuné has opened its flagship outpost in Hong Kong. Located in the heart of the metropolis’ Causeway Bay district, the store carries the brand’s coveted fox logo-adorned apparel, along with a selection of CD’s and records paying homage to its music label imprint. As with every one of its stores, the interior is inspired by the city surrounding it, with Hong Kong’s location no different. The new space features chinoiserie motifs all around, including blue and white porcelain pieces, Chinese lanterns and bamboo fixtures. However, the antiquated adornments are juxtaposed with the interior’s clean space, with large mirrors and sleek lines all around. Completing the space is custom artwork from André Saraiva.
Specially designed for this flagship, Maison Kitsuné unveiled a special collection celebrating Hong Kong. Exclusive to this store, the Hongkongais collection features pieces amiably designed with Hong Kong-centric motifs. For those unsure of this particular jargon, co-founder Masaya Kuroki notes that “Hongkongais simply means that you’re a citizen of of the city.
