James Bond 'Casino Royale' Reimagined as a 1960s Style Trailer
A trip down memory lane for all good Peter Sellers and David Niven fans.
In anticipation of the 24th James Bond film ‘Spectre,’ London-based filmmaker Steve Ramsden offers a unique interpretation in the form of a reimagined trailer for James Bond ‘Casino Royale.’ Revered as Daniel Craig’s first ever Bond performance, the unofficial trailer has been produced in the fashion of its original 1967 comic predecessor including the same soundtrack, outdated graphical insignia and a dose of tongue-in-cheek humor to solidify the reference. Ramsden’s ‘Casino Royale’ does well to pay tribute to the late, great Peter Sellers and David Niven by gently touching on the many aspects of their comic prowess and translating it through the often stern character of Daniel Craig.
