Tuxedo - R U Ready

Recently dug up from a Goodwill shop in Fresno, slick duo Mayer Hawthorne & Jake One aka Tuxedo have shared with us the VHS for their single “R U Ready.” Shot at a TV studio on old school tape, the clip was apparently shot in 1981 and is every bit perfect for this funk laced single. Matching white suits, a metallic gold jumpsuit and just the right amount of side-step; this is evidence that sometimes less is more. Watch above and find the tune on their debut LP Tuxedo which is in stores now.
