Stussy continues to add to its “Classic” range, reprising its collaboration with Japan’s CHUP to follow-up this spring’s “Defender” release with the “Raggamuffin” socks for Summer 2015. Firm-yet-cushioned with both quick-drying and water-absorbing capabilities, the socks utilize CHUP’s signature technique and are crafted Japan of European linen and fine-combed yarn by slowly braiding the fibers together on a rare, old-school pile machine. Retailing for ¥2,300 JPY (approximately $19 USD) per pair, Stussy’s CHUP-made “Raggamuffin” socks will soon be available in black, orange, and navy colorways at Stussy’s Japanese chapters, the Stussy Japan web store and ZOZOTOWN.
