Pigalle 2016 Spring/Summer Collection
The Parisian label takes a step away from its ties in streetwear.

After his ADNAM nomination and hints that he wanted to take Pigalle beyond its associations as a streetwear brand, Stephane Ashpool presented his 2016 spring collection in a small school where he actually attended as a pupil. The models chosen were boys in the Pigalle basketball team and they adorned a number of pieces that took a strong stance away from its ties to streetwear. Knitwear pieces were abundant as well as pastel colors in what appears to be a theme that harks back to his days in education. Highlights from the collection include the patched-suede jacket and pink MA-1, and we do find other attention-grabbing pieces such as the marble-swirl tracksuit. Scroll through the images and keep an eye out for the pieces to release in the coming months at select stockists.
