Playful shapes and relaxed fits define John Galliano‘s 2016 spring/summer line. The rejuvenated designer has approached the latest installment to his eponymous label by revisiting the silhouettes of traditional menswear pieces. Furthermore, by choosing to incorporate neon coloring, such ensembles effectively come to life. A popping, orange turtle neck shirt, layered underneath a violet and midnight blue jacket rests just below the model’s chin. This particular outfit is completed with a pair of cropped, royal blue trousers and low top sneakers, effectively exposing the ankles. Another turtle neck look features cut out shoulders, and has been matched with khaki colored, high-waisted pants. An appealing combination is a black leather rain coat, placed over an open, zippered hoodie and finished with a set of high-waisted, olive-green shorts. An iridescent silver jacket is certainly the standout garment from the collection. Share whether you think Galliano has hit the mark with his newest offerings.
