Many say that the money is the root of all evil, but in reality, it’s not. It’s the obsession and the greed that comes with it that leads to evil; money is needed to survive in a capitalistic society and therefore, as Joey Bada$$ says, it is the “root of all people.” He addresses this idea in his DJ Premier-produced track “Paper Trail$” off his debut album B4.DA.$$ and has recently unveiled an accompanying video.
