Formerly, Berkeley rapper known as 100s, now a fews songs into his new identity, Kossisko and his latest comes with accompanying visuals. “Own Me” starts with a phone call from a girl explaining the tattoo she wants to get, “I want to have it a part of me.” As life and haphazard decisions would have it, the aftermath is Kossicko’s “Own Me,” a slow-burning, dark and resentful track about meeting her, moving quick and the consequences. Fast girls are funny like that.
