A new skate deck featuring an iconic photo of 2Pac taken by Mike Miller honors the late rapper’s 44th birthday this year.
In celebration of what would have been 2Pac’s 44th birthday on June 16 this year, Primitive Skateboarding releases its second 2Pac board collaboration, this time with renowned photographer and skate enthusiast Mike Miller. The 2Pac “Against the World” 8.1” skate deck features an iconic photo of the late rapper that was captured years ago by Miller when he spent a day with the ‘Pac in L.A. shooting for the 1994 album Thug Life: Volume 1. In conjunction with the release, Primitive Skateboarding also drops an accompanying video that interviews Miller who remembers hanging with ‘Pac and explains the inspiration that went behind the shoot that day. The Mike Miller x Primitive Skateboarding 2Pac “Against the World” skate deck is now available for purchase in limited quantities at Primitive flagship boutiques, select retailers worldwide, and online for $57 USD.
