Crystal Pepsi Set to Make Comeback
Pepsi’s discontinued clear cola looks set to return thanks to social media campaign.

Pepsi’s discontinued transparent soda, Crystal Pepsi, looks set to make a comeback thanks to competitive eater Kevin Strahle, aka L.A. Beast. Initially released in 1992, Crystal Pepsi was swiftly removed from the market by the brand on account of, according to its creator in a 2007 interview with Fast Company, it simply not tasting good. Strahle, however clearly disagrees and thanks to a 34,000-person-strong #BringBackCrystalPepsi social media campaign, the caffeine-free drink looks set to return. Writing to Strahle via Twitter, Pepsi claimed that he and his followers will “all be happy with what’s in store” and although no official confirmation has yet come from the drinks brand, the Crystal Pepsi-headed correspondence hints at plans in motion. Keep a close eye on Kevin Strahle’s Twitter for any developments here.
