New York label SSUR follows up its “Signature” line with the Spring 2015 “Jamaica” collection. Again drawing inspiration from Jamaica, namely Jah Rastafari, SSUR combines an outlaw attitude and spiritual understanding of nature with an aesthetically pleasing streetwear theme. SSUR founder Russ Karablin looked to the dress codes of Jamaican island “Bad Boys” from New York in the ’70s and ’80s as reference point. Graphic T-shirts are styled with camo-printed jackets and paired with matching pants and headwear. Vibrancy is a key element to this drop with fluorescent orange, pale yellow and mint green present throughout. Look for the “Jamaica” collection to drop in the coming weeks from SSUR.
