The costs of even stepping foot in a recording studio, let alone getting an amicable schedule, can have a daunting effect on producing an album, so, newly-launched website Studiotime.io has taken it upon themselves to solve this harrowing dilemma by offering varying recording studios to rent. Basically Airbnb for recording studios, Studiotime.io lets studios create profiles detailing their resources, price, and even willing musicians in order to find you and your band a place to record and perfect your album. Currently, studios are only available for rent in North America and London, however, as the site is only six weeks old, it is likely new cities will be added with measured haste. If you’re looking, you can rent, for example, Brooklyn’s EastSide Sound Studios is available for US$125 a day. Keep your eye on this budding rental site as this trend shows no sign of slowing down.
