On top of all the performances and controversies from the GRAMMYs last night, many interviews that took place also provided insight for future plans from artists. Mad Decent’s top dog Diplo dropped some valuable information on his recent collaboration and upcoming releases, revealing that his EP with Skrillex (as Jack Ü) will be dropped sometime this month. However, last month Diplo had already claimed via Instagram that it was to be released in January, so this is an apparent push back. The release will feature tracks such as “Take Ü There,” “To You,” “Febreze,” “Beat Steady Knockin,” “I Need You the Most,” “Some of Them” and “Jungle Bae,” and guest contributions from Kiesza, 2 Chainz, AlunaGeorge, and Snails. Check below for an excerpt of the interview and watch it in its entirety above.
“The Madonna album’s out in March. I did a lot of her album. Then there’s Major Lazer, my project which I did with Ariana Grande, Ellie Goulding, Travi$ Scott, Pusha T, Gwen Stefani — that comes out in April. And with Skrillex I did an album called Jack Ü, that’s out this month. That’s really cool.”
