Kanye West has been on fire lately. In the past two days he supportively listened to a fan rap to him, called out Nike at a Big Sean concert, almost interrupted Beck for his GRAMMY win, and criticized the award show for its lack of respect for art. Today he pulled off another iconic moment at New York’s John F. Kennedy airport when he spotted a fan wearing red Nike Command Forces. He offered to replace the man’s show with a pair of his new adidas Yeezy Boosts. Kanye proposed, “No more of those, you know that. If I could give you these right now, would you throw those in the trash right away?” The fan obviously complied and gave his personal information to Kanye’s assistant to have the pair of shoes delivered to him. We now really know the extent of resentfulness Yeezy has towards Nike, whom he had cut ties with back in 2013. Watch the video above and let us know if you’d have done the same.
