New York-based clothing label J. Money has unveiled its latest capsule collection dubbed “WAR,” enlisting American photographer and photojournalist Eli Reed as well as skate photographer Mike O’Meally in the featured lookbook. Inspired by Generation Y’s viewpoint on politics and global affairs, the graphics in the collection serve as a gentle reminder of the values that underpin the American economy. Featuring a monochromatic palette emblazoned with bold motifs and prints, the collection offers up an edgy take on the brand’s consistently clean and minimal aesthetic. Standout items include the World Trade Zip Hood which pays homage to the 9/11 tragedy, draws inspiration from the New York City subway and gives a nod to the physical engagement of international trade. Check out the images above and head over to J. Money’s online store for a closer look at the WAR capsule collection.
