Nick Young Officially Signs With adidas After Nike Fails to Match the Deal
Swaggy P ends his free agency with a tug of war between two giants.
Los Angeles Lakers star Nick Young has officially signed with adidas. Nice Kicks creative director Nick DePaula broke the news via his Twitter, also revealing that the 30-year-old basketball player was caught in a tug of war between sportswear giants adidas and Nike, which the latter eventually declined to agree to the deal’s terms. Swaggy P is all celebration about the new contract, and appeared wearing the adidas Yeezy 750 Boost to his first game as a Three Stripes signee against the Houston Rockets. Young joins adidas’s roster of athletes that includes James Harden, Sidney Crosby, Jeremy Lin and more.
