We’re all anticipating Quentin Tarantino’s forthcoming feature film The Hateful Eight, and on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, we find out how one of its starring characters got the role. While we might be more familiar with Channing Tatum in less serious roles such as in the Jump Street series or Magic Mike, the actor has definitely been taking on more critical characters (such as in Foxcatcher). While he might not have been the shoe-in for his role in The Hateful Eight, he wasn’t discouraged. He reveals that he emailed Tarantino every day straight for a month for a chance at the film.
