ASICS has dropped a rework of the 1993-released GEL-Kayano trainer in a familiar neon pink, black, grey and white colorway. Featuring a speckled motif in a similar palette, the sneaker is an eye-catching addition to ASICS roster of vintage offerings. Featuring an exoskeleton cage inspired by industrial aesthetics, the new Kayano also employs black nubuck and mesh on the upper for multi-textured detailing. Designed with fit and wearability in mind, this model is also rendered with a unique mono sock that replaces the traditional tongue, a welcomed addition that optimizes comfort for the urban wearer. The new ASICS sneaker is now available at select retailers such as Bait.
