Updated 4-Inch iPhone Rumored to Release Early Next Year
It will purportedly be the metal successor to the proudly plastic iPhone 5c.

Fans of smaller smartphones that cater to one-handed use will find this latest rumor a welcome sight — Apple is reportedly developing a 4-inch metal iPhone that will pack the latest A9 processor and sport colorful metal construction, due to be released in early 2016. According to GHI Securities analyst Ming-chi Kuo, the spiritual successor to the iPhone 5 will be priced off-contract between $400-500 USD to target more budget-conscious consumers, while integrating the A9 chipset of the iPhone 6s, NFC technology for Apple Pay, and the same 8MP iSight camera and 1.2MP FaceTime camera. Referred to as the iPhone 6c, the new model will make an interesting proposition to replace the “unapologetically plastic” iPhone 5c.
