YouTube Launches Its Music App
YouTube Music is here.
Following the launch of the ad-free Red paid subscription service, YouTube has officially launched its very own music streaming app. Simply dubbed YouTube Music, the new service is a successor of sorts to Google Play Music and takes a station-centric approach to listening — every song, album, artist, or genre you choose kicks off a non-stop station meant to help you find new tracks and rediscover old favorites.
YouTube Red subscribers will automatically have access to Music, but those interested can downloaded the standalone app now for both iOS and Android and try it out for free for 14 days. For more on Music, head on over to YouTube’s dedicated blog.
