McDonald's in Spain Has Better Fries and Offers Free Beer
Plus something called a Big Mac Chicken.
Survey a group of people and you’re bound to have the “fast food” argument of which restaurant reigns supreme. However, this argument would be null and void with McDonald’s as the winner each time if it implemented the offerings it has in Spain, as reported upon by Business Insider. According to Senior Producer Will Wei, his hidden-cam shoot in a Barcelona, Spain branch left him with mixed reviews but an overall envious experience compared to what Mickey D’s offers here in the States. Wei remarks on the delicious potato wedge alternative to fries and an interesting Big Mac Chicken while the Fish McBites, once offered in the U.S. to negative reviews and ultimately pulled, remained unsatisfactory. The highlight of his visit however appears to be the beer he ordered as well, which surprisingly was free of charge. Whether or not it was a clerical mistake upon the cashier or not remains unknown, but the mere fact that beer is served is already a one-up on American McDonald’s. Check out the video above and take solace in the fact that at least there’s all-day breakfast.
