Hanon x ASICS GEL-Lyte III "Solstice"
Taking inspiration from the longest and shortest days of the year.
Aberdeen’s Hanon has joined forces with ASICS once again, taking cues from the solstices as it celebrates the 25th anniversary of the beloved GEL-Lyte III. Looking to the stark contrast between Scotland’s dark winter evenings and long summer nights, the design employs deep blue suede and plush purple nubuck throughout its upper as the shimmering lights of the sky influence the use of the reflective 3M underlay beneath the bespoke perforated vamp. Reflectivity also hits the Tiger Stripes and woven lacing while the lining sports a combination of celtic knots and Hanon’s signature flame motif throughout. Finally, a dual-branded tongue badge, custom footbeds and three sets of laces round out the package.
The Hanon x ASICS GEL-Lyte III “Solstice” will be released November 28 both in-store and online.
