2016 Mercedes-Benz SL
Aggressive as ever.

Mercedes-Benz’s SL sixth-generation model has arguably been the German manufacturer’s hallmark sports car since its introduction back in 2012, and now the legendary car has been given a significant structural and performance revamp for the coming year. The 2016 model features a new aggressive exterior design, with an updated hood, bumper and rear, to go along with a diamond grille and powerful headlights. These subtle tweaks complement the 362 horsepower V6 and 449 horsepower V8 engines that are under the hood for the entry-level SL450 model and the SL550 model respectively, while extra power can be found in the V12 engines for the SL63 and SL65 AMG models. The latest design will also mark the first time ever the SL has been produced entirely from aluminum, which has resulted in a weight reduction of around 140 kilograms. Additional new features include a new 9-speed transmission, Active Body Control system, and an improved vario-roof. Look to purchase the 2016 Mercedes-Benz early next year.
