'Gods of Egypt' Official Trailer Starring Gerard Butler and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau

The visionary director of I, Robot and The Crow presents his latest film starring Gerard Butler (London Has Fallen), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Game of Thrones) and Brenton Thwaites (The Giver). In the highly stylized epic that takes places in Ancient Egypt, a commonplace mortal thief named Bek (Thwaites) joins forces with the Egyptian deity Horus (Coster-Waldau) on a mission to save the world from the god of Darkness, Set (Butler), who has taken over the throne of the Egyptian empire. Showcasing plenty of explosions, appearances from infernal gods such as Anubis, and visually stunning action sequences, the film is sure to be an action-packed thrill ride. From the footage we even get a quick glimpse of a monologue by Set, reminiscent of the utterly legendary quotability of 300 one-liners. Gods of Egypt is set for a February 26, 2016 theatrical release. You can watch the full trailer above.
