Nike Unveils Elite Digital Ink Sock Printing Process
Perfect both for basketball and off-court loafing, Nike’s Elite Socks have been insanely popular

Perfect both for basketball and off-court loafing, Nike‘s Elite Socks have been insanely popular since they were introduced a few years back. Now, in the biggest progression yet for the the design, Nike introduces the Elite Digital Ink printing process: a proprietary system of creating socks that are just as vibrant as the sneakers with which they’re paired. Giving designer the ability to emblazon the socks with high-definition graphics and a myriad of vivid colors, the unique process is free of both distortion and fading while retaining the sweat-wicking, support and impact protection offered by the design. Kicking off the new Elite Sock releases will be a special “First Edition” colorway that celebrates the CMYK process with a pattern of cyan, magenta, yellow and black that includes drip effects, geometric patterns, typefaces and more. Limited to just 2,014 pairs, the Nike Elite Digital Ink “First Edition” Sock will be available exclusively at Nike.com beginning June 21.
