Only just yesterday Lifetime had announced that Zendaya Coleman was chosen to depict Aaliyah Haughton in the upcoming biopic Aaliyah: Princess of R&B. Despite the announcement it appears Aaliyah’s family are none too pleased as they have expressed their disapproval and distance from the project. The news was ensued via Twitter where the official Aaliyah memorial account made it noted.
