In an unlikely source of inspiration for a pair of sneakers, New Balance premieres the made in the USA “Moby Dick” pack for the summer season. Consisting of the M1300MD and M998MD, the first features a light navy and teal nubuck and mesh construction, while the other pairs a grey pigskin with cobalt-colored mesh panels. Both models feature a colorway that seemingly pay tribute to the open sea and a particular sperm whale that evaded Captain Ahab in the great American novel Moby Dick. Both sneakers are currently available at END., with the M1300MD priced at $199 USD and the M998MD at $209 USD.
