Up-and-coming NYC crew (we know, there’s a few different ones to keep track of now) World’s Fair continue their moderately-paced rise to the higher reaches of their crop with this new smooth cut of boom-bap “Uh Huh.” Featuring members Cody B. Ware & Prince Samo, “Uh Huh” is a solid showcase of the new crowd of NYC revivalists fighting to evolve the golden age sound. There’s a stream of concrete-hard lyrics, a clipped vocal sample and crate-dug drums all layered together like one well-made rap cake.
