Having worked with the likes of Raury and Danny Brown in the past, The Neighbourhood are no strangers to rap collaborations. However, working with a mainstream, radio-friendly artist like French Montana is something a bit different. For a new song entitled “#icanteven,” the quintet links up with the Coke Boys boss for a song about breakups and relationship issues. The Neighbourhood’s vocal part was performed after frontman Jesse Rutherford found out his girlfriend hadn’t exactly been the most faithful partner, so that explains the song’s subject matter. French Montana’s part, however, is just French being his normal, boastful self. This track will be included on The Neighbourhood’s upcoming #000000 & #FFFFFF mixtape, which will see release on November 24.
