Nico Segal featuring Vic Mensa & Chance The Rapper - Zion

Chicago trumpeter Nico Segal pairs up with director Peter Campbell to deliver the music video to the first track off his upcoming solo effort, Donnie Trumpet. The song, entitled “Zion,” is a take on Lauryn Hill‘s “To Zion” which was featured on her Grammy Award-winning debut album The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. Joining Segal in his efforts are his former Kids These Days bandmate Vic Mensa and Savemoney affiliate Chance The Rapper. While we’ll likely have to wait until its June 25 release date to hear anything else off of Donnie Trumpet, you can throw Segal’s last solo-project, Illasoul: Shades of Blue, in rotation until then.
