Just in time for the new year, Nike is set to introduce its latest entry in the long-running flagship Max Air lineup. Working with the brand’s own Sports Research Lab, Nike’s designers increased flexibility and traction while shedding weight thanks to a newly developed take on the classic waffle sole – one that incorporates Free-like flex grooves throughout for a smoother transition. For the upper the team chose to ditch the Air Max 2013‘s Hyperfuse in favor of Engineered Mesh, lightweight foam, and a seamless overlay while Dynamic Flywire provides support throughout. Finished with a 360 Max Air unit, the Air Max 2014 is set to be available from NSW retailers beginning December 5.
