Bloc Party - Obscene (Kele Okereke Remix)

Another in-house rework project is on its way from label !K7, this time around from Kele Okereke. The Bloc Party frontman has reworked his band’s material, as today we showcase his coinciding remix of “Obscene.” Kele described the new entry as follows:

“I turned what is a rather sombre ballad into a jacked-up early ‘90s house track.”

That is indeed a pretty accurate assessment, as this particular reinterpretation is a perfect fit for the dance floor, featuring an electronic-heavy sound. In short, it works nonetheless, so be sure to give it a spin below. Also, look for the Bloc Party remix tape to release on October 15.
