This Custom Nike Air Yeezy 2 Is Coated in Gold
Ain’t sayin’ you a gold digger.
Keeping in line with big name customization projects, John Geiger has partnered up with LASCO to create a limited release of Nike Air Yeezy 2 “Golden Child.” LASCO, being quite similar to Hender Scheme, doesn’t produce custom reconstructions but rather luxe versions of classic silhouettes, meaning the “Golden Child” is simply a custom colorway. According to the company’s Instagram, the construction was rather laborious. Each sneaker took more than 40 hours to properly construct its 62 pieces with five types of leather and three different threads.
