YG Enlists Lil Yachty and Babyface Ray for "STUPID"
The latest cut lifted from the Compton rapper’s forthcoming album.
YG has unleashed his latest single. Dubbed “STUPID” the high-octane offering features contributions from Lil Yachty and Babyface Ray – with a cameo in the visual from the full Concrete Boys gang.
“Remember them days I was slidin’ in the Buick / Now I’m up goin’ stupid, stupid,” YG delivers on the chorus. “I just took a model off my checklist, stupid / I just put a X to my ex-b*tch, stupid / I’m the type to take by the necklace, stupid / Made it off the block like Tetris.”
Yachty handles the second verse – with KARRAHBOOO, Draft Day, Camo! and DC2Trill posted up right behind him in the classic West Coast visual, which sees the track’s three rappers performing in sports cars, yachts and on top of roofs. Babyface Ray brings it home on the final verse, spitting his bars from the pool.
The single comes on the heels of the rapper’s just-announced North American Tour: Just Re’d Up – named after his imminent album of the same name, expected to drop on August 16.
