In collaboration with Hourglass, digital artist and viral sensation Andrés Reisinger brings his beloved, pink-hued aesthetic along with other mesmerizing elements from his globally renowned “Take Over” digital series to life, making the unreal, real in downtown New York for one weekend-only at The Unreal Pop-Up Shop.
Unveiling a truly unprecedented beauty collaboration, Hourglass brings the digital realm to life through a playful pop-up that pushes the boundaries of what is possible — reflecting the surreal glow one can achieve when using the Unreal Liquid Blush. The rare physical installation by Reisinger, a globally renowned artist known to digitally take over iconic architectural locations worldwide with his dream-like pink aesthetic, will be open to the public July 12-14.
Reisinger’s signature pink drapes will make their New York debut with a striking installation taking over the iconic corner of Prince and Elizabeth streets — and as this is one of the most prominent downtown areas, the pop-up is already beginning to amass some serious buzz. On display inside the pop-up will be one of Reisinger’s viral Hortensia chairs, on loan from Moooi. Each of the 15 rare chairs was crafted from 20,000 delicate flower petals, to translate the digital texture IRL.
