Studio Nicholson Fall 2024 Puts Fabric First
Making classics better.
Since its 2010 founding, Studio Nicholson has retained a refined palette and it has only been getting cleaner. But one of the key ways in which the brand continues to elevate its aesthetic is through a sheer focus on luxury fabric and its new Fall 2024 collection is no different.
What the latest offering also continues is Studio Nicholson’s no-frills approach. The brand loves classic garments and it excels by constantly trying to improve them. So the wardrobe is filled with sleek outerwear, classic tops with a contemporary edge, simple button-down shirts, pleated pants, timeless cable knits and more. Doubling down on classic style, the pieces appear in hues of black, bone, butter, black grape, navy, espresso, fossil, plaster, glacier and more.
“I’m very into how clothes make you feel. Anyone can style something and make it look decent but as a garment, how does it make you feel,” said founder/creative director, Nick Wakeman. “We started this collection considering that each fabric had to have some kind of property. Is it spongy, shiny, textural, noisy? “We delved into 1990s fabrications, mainly out of Japan, and I was thinking about Comme and Yohji.”
