The 2024 Olympic Games are set to begin in Paris, and golf brands are looking to tap into the fervor around the sport as top talents like Rory McIlroy, Scottie Scheffler, Nelly Korda, Jon Rahm and Xander Schauffele descend on the French capital. One of those brands is boutique putter studio Toulon.

This is now the third time that golf has been a part of the Olympics, and reigning men’s gold medalist and Toulon user Xander Schauffele will lead the American efforts. Wrapping all of these narratives into one, Toulon is set to release a Small Batch Paris putter with a distinctly French flavor and a similar design to the one Schauffele used to climb to the top of golf’s metaphorical Eiffel Tower.

A compact mallet shape that’s designed to perform more like a blade, the plumber’s neck style hosel creates toe hang and full shaft offset allowing the face to swing freely open to closed. However, unlike a blade, the Small Batch Paris measures 3 inches front to back and toe to heel, creating a geometric sensation that frames the ball more clearly to encourage better aim. Toulon also notes that although most wing shaped mallet putters are wanting for sound and feel, a great deal of attention was given to the thickness of the face and dimensions of the wings to render the best feedback possible.

Putting the performance features aside though, most people will be drawn to Small Batch Paris for its looks. The sole features a depiction of the Eiffel Tower framed on either side by “Toulon” and “Paris” in blue, and the same word marks are repeated below in a futura font that calls to mind French high fashion houses. The final flourish is a golden PVD finish as if the putter were drenched in champagne.

Should you be looking to purchase one from the limited batch, head over to Toulon’s website tomorrow, July 26 at 12PM ET.
