Leading this week’s drops, Awake NY revives its Michelle Obama T-shirt with a “Michelle ‘24” graphic, donating proceeds to the Asiyah Women’s Center. Sporty & Rich teams up with adidas for a 2024 Olympics collection featuring red, white and blue sneakers and athletic garments, pre-releasing on July 26. New Balance introduces the first Shohei Ohtani Signature Collection, including a dugout-inspired jacket and pants, graphic T-shirts and specialized footwear, available now. Nike SB collaborates with Alexis Sablone for Japan’s National Skateboarding Team collection, blending workwear aesthetics with performance technology for the Paris Olympics, available in select regions. BABYLON partners with NEIGHBORHOOD for a punk-inspired capsule featuring Ric Clayton’s skull art, highlighted by an art show at HVW8 Gallery in LA. Pepsi and Pompeii launch “La Pretemporada,” a football-inspired streetwear collection featuring t-shirts, jerseys, a windbreaker and a cap. Moncler Grenoble’s Pre-Fall 2024 collection emphasizes outdoor layering with GORE-TEX and PrimaLoft technology, available now. Mountain Research rebrands as “Mountain Research by A.M.” under new design lead Abe Masahiro, debuting the “WAITING FOR THE SUN” collection of outdoor and hiking apparel.

Awake NY Michelle Obama Graphic Charity Tee

Awake NY has reissued its Michelle Obama T-shirt from 2018 with a new “Michelle ‘24” graphic, humorously suggesting Obama as the brand’s running mate for the 2024 US presidential election. The T-shirt, available in black or white for $60, features her Princeton graduation portrait and the quote “When they go low, we go high.” Proceeds will be donated to the Asiyah Women’s Center, supporting women of color who are refugees and migrants in NYC and NJ. The T-shirt is available for pre-order via Awake NY’s official site.

Sporty & Rich x adidas Olympics Capsule

Sporty & Rich has unveiled a full apparel capsule with adidas for the 2024 Olympics, following their collaborative sneaker releases. The collection features red, white and blue iterations of the Adistar Cushion, Samba and Handball Spezial sneakers, along with athletic garments like tracksuits, t-shirts and shorts. The apparel is designed for both at-home viewing and in-stand celebrations. The full collection will be pre-released on July 26 on the Sporty & Rich webstore, with an early preview available in Paris at Le Bristol Paris on July 25.

New Balance Shohei Ohtani Signature Collection

New Balance has launched the first Shohei Ohtani Signature Collection, featuring apparel and footwear. The collection includes a dugout-inspired woven nylon jacket and pants set in “Marsh Green” and “Timberwolf,” lightweight with mesh lining and a full snap closure on the jacket. It also includes graphic T-shirts re-released from June, featuring a silhouette of Ohtani rounding first base. The footwear consists of the Ohtani v1 Metal and Ohtani v1 Turf in black or white, designed with spikes closer to the ground for increased power. Prices range from $30 USD to $170 USD and is available now via New Balance’s official site.

Nike SB Japan National Skateboarding Team Kit

Nike SB has released its Japan National Skateboarding Team collection, designed in collaboration with skater and architect Alexis Sablone for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. The collection blends workwear aesthetics with modern performance technology and features a range of apparel. Highlights include the Dri-FIT ADV Short-Sleeve Jersey with Mount Fuji, koi fish and cherry blossom graphics, a red Short-Sleeve Button-Up Bowler Shirt with an embroidered koi fish, a tan sport polo and a black pullover hoodie. Prices range from $62 USD to $142 USD and the collection is available now at Nike in select regions.

BABYLON x NEIGHBORHOOD Punk-Inspired Capsule

BABYLON, founded by Trash Talk members Lee Spielman and Garrett Stevenson, has teamed up with Tokyo’s NEIGHBORHOOD for a punk-inspired capsule collection featuring artwork by Venice-based artist Ric Clayton, known for his ’80s skull and wave designs. The collection includes custom button-ups, long sleeves and tees, highlighted by Hawaiian skull button-ups. Photographed by Dan Regan along Southern California’s coastline, the collection is modeled by Eaddy and Jean from Ho99o9. To celebrate, an art show featuring Clayton’s work is being held at HVW8 Gallery in LA until August 11, with the collection available now on both brands’ websites and select retailers.

Pepsi x Pompeii Football-Inspired Streetwear Collection

Pepsi has partnered with Spanish streetwear brand Pompeii to launch a football-inspired capsule collection called “La Pretemporada,” reflecting the essence of a professional football club’s summer training camp. The unisex collection features seven pieces, including t-shirts, jerseys, a windbreaker and a cap, all showcasing Pepsi’s refreshed brand identity with an electric blue centerpiece. Blending Pompeii’s streetwear expertise with Pepsi’s updated look, the collection celebrates Pepsi’s “Thirsty for More” philosophy. It aims to appeal to football enthusiasts by linking Pompeii’s football culture with nostalgic memories of Pepsi’s early 2000s football advertising. Available from July 23 on Pompeii’s website and stores.

Moncler Grenoble Pre-Fall 2024

Moncler Grenoble’s Pre-Fall 2024 collection embraces outdoor layering for mild temperatures, focusing on functional versatility. Inspired by alfresco color palettes such as “ochre,” “sand,” “slate,” and “clay,” the collection features practical gear ideal for hikers of all levels. Highlights include belted shell jackets with detachable fuzzy gilets and insulating hoods, GORE-TEX-lined technical jackets and PrimaLoft Gold Insulation Active technology in brown capes and multi-pocketed uniforms. The collection is completed with Moncler-branded caps, bucket hats and bags and is available now in-store and online via Moncler.

Mountain Research by A.M. New Collection

Mountain Research has rebranded as “Mountain Research by A.M.” under its new design lead, Abe Masahiro, who previously served as a design assistant. The new collection, titled “WAITING FOR THE SUN,” marks this transition and extends the brand’s focus on outdoor and hiking-appropriate apparel. The collection includes a range of outerwear, knitwear, fleece garments and tees, with standout pieces like technical overalls, a cargo jacket and a flag-printed poncho. Available online from July 26, the collection continues the brand’s tradition of functional and stylish outdoor gear.
