Snoop Dogg is officially joining the 2024 Olympics. While he won’t be jumping any hurdles or attempting the Biles II, the rapper has been named the final torchbearer and is set to carry the Olympic torch on the final stretch before the official opening ceremony.

As confirmed by Mathieu Hanotin, the mayor of Saint-Denis, on X, Snoop will carry the torch through the town of Saint-Denis – which is home to Stade de France as well as the new Olympic Aquatics Centre. This leg marks the final stretch of the torch-bearing trek, which concludes at the Eiffel Tower, where Snoop will set the torch into the Olympic cauldron in the Tuileries Gardens.

French actress Laetitia Casta, French rapper MC Solaar and retired Ukrainian pole-vaulter Sergey Bubka are set to join the rapper on the penultimate stretch. The final torch-bearer has yet to be revealed.

In addition to his torch-bearing responsibilities, Snoop is also set to assist as a news correspondent for the Paris Games as well, contributing commentary to NBC’s Primetime in Paris show.
