2XU and District Vision's New Collab is for Extreme Conditions
Featuring UV-shielding, breathable mesh and more.
Marathon running is no easy task. From the difficulty of physically pushing oneself to covering several miles to keeping one’s mind/spirit encouraged, is enough to test anyone. But the challenge becomes exceptionally harder with the involvement of inclement weather whether it is extreme heat, cold, rain or more. Well, 2XU and District Vision have come together to tackle extreme heat with their new collaboration.
The new offering between the two entities was inspired by the 135-mile Badwater marathon that begins in Death Valley (the hottest place on Earth) and ends at Mt. Whitney. To accommodate the extreme heat, 2XU and District Vision have teamed up to craft a nine-piece collection. Included in the offering are a hooded desert anorak, compression shorts, compression calf guards, compression arm guards, 5-inch shorts, a T-shirt, 3/4 compression tights, a singlet, sunglasses and a hat.
What makes the pieces ready to withstand the heat are special properties like UV-shielding, breathable mesh, temperature-regulating capabilities and the sunglasses’ special rimless titanium build.
Take a look at the offering in the gallery above. Ranging in price from $69.99 USD to $649.99 USD, the new 2XU x District Vision collaboration is available now for pre-order online.
