Heineken's "Pint-Cho" Protects Football Fans From Unexpected Spills
Dropping for free at select pubs in London, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, and Leeds.
Football season is in full swing. The Euros has made its kickoff this month, rumbling thousands of international fans cheering for their local teams. With beer-drinking competitions come unexpected spills during goal-scoring celebrations, and Heineken is here to protect you with its innovative “Pint-Cho.”
Whether you’re watching the game from pubs or stadiums, Heineken is building on 1990s nostalgia with two unisex garments inspired by old-school football jerseys. The Dutch beer brand has collaborated with Amsterdam-based rainwear label Rainkiss to create an ultra-lightweight design while keeping its wearers cool under the beaming sunshine. The “Pint-Cho” will flick away any liquid accidents and conceal your team kit beneath, arriving in green and white colorways featuring splotched colorings and stripped shoulder details.
Heineken embraces sustainability by recycling used beer bottles, with 20 containers reworked into each poncho. The design includes chest buttons, expansive kangaroo pockets, and a toggled hood to shelter the face and neck from exterior matter.
