AMBUSH SS24 Brings the Punk Attitude to Its Uniform
Infusing a modern athletic aesthetic to the collection.
AMBUSH has revealed its Spring/Summer 2024 collection. The new season combines AMBUSH’s signature school uniform aesthetic with punk motifs and athletic silhouettes. Designer Yoon Ahn continues to raise the bar to bring vintage sportswear elements to utilitarian staples and surreal going-out garments.
This collection brings an eclectic and energetic temperament to the brand’s DNA. From bejeweled evening wear to distressed hoodies, the collection takes inspiration from the carefree, teenage field days to boxy 1950s vintage workwear silhouettes. The vintage look extends to the athletic tracksuits in blue and maroon as well as the tennis miniskirts paired with zip-up jackets, shell jackets and knit polos. The oversized look continues with mesh football jerseys while some are shrunk to give the look of the ’70s track stars in short-shorts aesthetic.
Denim and khaki fabrics add to the workwear look where jeans features large flapped pockets and denim jackets are in a boxy shape. Khaki Harrington jackets are paired with matching miniskirts or cargo trousers, layered with simple shirts and white socks for the summer uniform by AMBUSH. Versatility in the collection finds itself in various t-shirts and vest tops that feature bows and buckles for that added punk edge in the tailoring. Plaids make their way in grey and peach/blue colorways adding to the vintage thrift shop inspired style.
