Carhartt WIP SS23 Gets Preppy, Sporty and Technical in New "Marina" Campaign
Shot by London-based photographer Theo Cottle in North Yorkshire.
After joining forces with Awake NY for a friendship-infused capsule last month, Carhartt WIP has returned with an all-new editorial campaign for its flagship Spring/Summer 2023 collection, titled “Marina.” Shot by London-based photographer Theo Cottle, the sartorial imagery spotlights the adaptive label’s preppy silhouettes and technical outerwear on customized hovercrafts in North Yorkshire.
Among the pieces featured, Carhartt WIP’s Alto Jacket, new for this season, boasts a light, water-repellent fabric, with reflective detailing on the front pocket and across the back. Meanwhile, the Coastal Jacket, made from a lightweight poplin textile, offers a fresh spin on utilitarian sportswear, with a packable hood and myriad zips. And the Coastal Pant, constructed from the same fabrication, dons a balloon-like shape with magnetic adjusters.
Across a blue, navy, white, red and lazurite color palette, Carhartt WIP’s State Flag emblem receives a Maritime-inspired revamp, landing on the imprint’s Marina Shirt and Coast State Sweater alike. Notably, the latter silhouette features a reversed jacquard weave construction with exposed seam detailing. Elsewhere, stripes are a key player, appearing on both the L/S Tork Rugby and Women’s Elcano Shirts.
