Montblanc Continues Its Renowned Majlis Concept This Ramadan

Observed by Muslims around the world, the Holy month of Ramadan is a time of reflection, empathy, discipline, and community — practiced through fasting during daylight hours. This year, the Montblanc Majlis — the Arabic word for sitting room — returns with the brand partnering with Ninive at Park Hyatt Dubai for a unique culinary experience.

For the entire month, the retreat’s tranquil Palm and Fountain gardens are transformed into a quintessential majlis that blends luxury, tradition, and heritage to provide a calming sanctuary. Visitors are invited to delve into the expertly crafted Iftar experience that begins at sunset, with a menu serving Middle Eastern classics curated by the award-winning chefs behind Ninive.

Speaking on the partnership and the brand embracing the Holy month, the President of Montblanc Middle East, India, and Africa, Franck Juhel explains, “We are delighted to be back to celebrate the spirit of Ramadan with the Montblanc Majlis in Dubai. Together with Ninive and Park Hyatt Dubai, we hope to offer an intimate space to create meaningful connections and cherished memories with your loved ones throughout the Holy month of Ramadan.”

Boasting three rotating menus throughout the month, each one featuring classic hot and cold starters before the mains such as Seabream Tangine, Shish Burak, Braised Lamb Shoulder Tashreeb, and more are served alongside the live cooking stations offering a selection of grilled meats and seafood, and the carving station bringing tasteful Lamb Ouzi and Whole Sea Bass. To end the dinner on a sweet note, Ninive brings guests an ensemble of local and continental dessert delicacies.

As the night continues, the Fountain Garden majlis transforms again to make room for a Suhour late-evening experience. To the ambient sounds of a live Oud player, the food offering features an array of delectable sharing-style dishes designed exclusively by the Ninive team.

The Montblanc Majlis by Ninive at Park Hyatt Dubai is taking place until March 29. The buffet Iftar experience is served from sunset until 8:30 p.m. GST for 350 AED (approx. $95 USD) per person while the plated sharing Suhour is from 10:30 p.m. GST onwards with prices set from 375 AED (approx. $102 USD).
