Netflix has officially debuted the first trailer for Lupin: Part 4, bringing Omar Sy back to the screen as the gentleman thief Assane Diop. The acclaimed French crime series is scheduled to return to the streaming platform with all eight episodes on October 23, 2026.
Picking up four years after the events of Part 3, the storyline finds Diop incarcerated with plans to complete his prison sentence before relocating to Senegal with his son. His path is disrupted when a mysterious copycat operating under the “Lupin” moniker executes simultaneous museum robberies across Paris. Despite security protocols, the thefts succeed, and manipulated evidence—including footage of a heist where Captain Belkacem is severely injured—frames Diop for the crimes.
To clear his name and expose the impersonator, Diop is forced to break out of prison and don the Lupin persona once again. Created by George Kay in collaboration with François Uzan, the series is showrun by Sy and Louis Leterrier and produced by Gaumont in partnership with Carrousel Studios. The returning cast includes Ludivine Sagnier, Antoine Gouy, Soufiane Guerrab, Shirine Boutella, Théo Christine, and Laïka Blanc-Francard.
All eight episodes of Lupin: Part 4 will premiere globally on Netflix on October 23, 2026.
