While the original 1890 leaned toward streamlined runner aesthetics, the 1890P introduces tougher leather overlays across the upper, replacing the mesh-heavy construction of its predecessor. A molded plastic cage wraps the forefoot, offering added durability and support while giving the shoe a bulkier, armor-like profile.
