MAPPA has dropped the first teaser video for the highly anticipated Jujutsu Kaisen: The Culling Game Part 2. Unveiled as part of the animation studio’s high-profile 15th Anniversary lineup reveal event, the teaser confirms that the fourth season of Gege Akutami‘s popular series is in active production.
This upcoming installment serves as the direct continuation of Season 3, dubbed The Culling Game Part 1, which aired its 12-episode run earlier this year from January to March 2026. While the core creative framework, including series scriptwriter Hiroshi Seko and composer Yoshimasa Terui remains, the production committee announced a significant directorial shift: Takeru Satō, who served as assistant director on Part 1, will step up to officially direct Season 4 under the overarching guidance of chief director Shōta Goshozono.
The brief but intense promotional video relies on a fast-paced, high-contrast visual montage designed to preview the brutal second half of Kenjaku’s deadly battle royale. The clip opens with quick recaps from the first half of the arc, followed by an ominous glimpse into how the game will continue to unfold.
