The LEGO Marvel The Fantastic Four H.E.R.B.I.E. is a detailed brick-built replica designed for both high-articulation play and shelf display. Inspired by the team’s robotic assistant, this 747-piece model prioritizes mechanical functionality and structural fidelity to its on-screen appearance in The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
The construction is centered on a series of specialized joints that grant the 9-inch-tall figure a wide range of motion. The arms and fingers are highly articulated, allowing the model to grip included tools like the buildable screwdriver and drinking mug. This focus on dexterity is complemented by a clever mechanical feature in the head: as the neck rotates, the “tape-recorder” eyes move automatically to maintain a consistent gaze, replicating the robot’s signature character quirks through internal LEGO gearing.
Beyond the external joints, the model’s torso serves as a functional storage hub. An opening front panel reveals a hidden interior compartment where the robot’s accessories can be stowed away when not in use. The final build occupies a footprint of 6 inches in width and 3.5 inches in depth, utilizing its dense piece count to achieve smooth curves and a polished, movie-accurate finish across the white and blue chassis.
The LEGO The Fantastic Four H.E.R.B.I.E. set is available for pre-order now and officially ships on August 1 via the LEGO Store.
