Jil Sander continues its legacy of minimalist elegance with the introduction of the “Hood” shoe for the Spring/Summer 2026 season. Designed under the creative direction of Simone Bellotti, the new footwear offering reworks the classic moccasin silhouette through a lens of reduction and refined proportion, delivering a stripped-back aesthetic grounded in precision and everyday function.

Crafted from premium smooth leather, the “Hood” shoe features a traditional moc-toe construction while maintaining an exceptionally clean and minimal profile. Bellotti’s design intentionally focuses on shape and material excellence rather than excessive detailing, perfectly capturing the brand’s signature understated luxury.

To modernize the classic shape, Jil Sander has replaced the traditional, often bulky crepe sole with a significantly thinner rubber base. This structural update not only lightens the overall profile of the shoe but also shifts its balance, resulting in a sleek evolution of the moccasin that is both highly wearable and visually striking. The Hood shoe is now available online and in-stores for $1,150 USD.
