Late last year, Nike announced the innovation-focused NIKE, Inc. Sport Offense platform. Included within its four initial pillars was its first neuroscience-based footwear: the Mind 001 and Mind 002. Said to “lock in mindset before and after competition,” the Mind line’s 22 independent foam nodes per shoe were an interesting proposition. By the time the model debuted in early 2026, it was clear that sneakerheads were eager to put this tech to the test. Since then, colorways have flown off of shelves, and Hiroshi Fujiwara teased a fragment design collaboration.

With hype surrounding the Mind 001 at a high, the Swoosh has just teased a new “White/Speed Red” pair. This time around, a white build hosts “Obsidian” Swoosh hardware. Meanwhile, the aforementioned 22 foam nodes are boldly declared in “Speed Red” underfoot, offering a one-of-a-kind sensation.

At the time of writing, Nike has not yet confirmed when this “White/Speed Red” iteration of the Mind 001 will be dropping. Stay tuned for updates, including the unveiling of additional colorways, as this pair is expected to drop in April via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $95 USD.
